It will be slightly tricky to pick the Dream11 team for the final ODI. There are many choices, and in an ODI, almost every player gets enough chances. Moreover, if you pick an opener, and he gets out quickly, the other player can score a hundred. And mostly that player would be in your opponent’s team.
However, it is important to go with your instincts and trust a player. So here is my dream11 team for the final India vs New Zealand ODI. Also, there will be some odd picks, so there will be a little risk for this one.
Captain And Vice-Captain Choices For Dream11
Shreyas Iyer as Dream11 Captain
Iyer is on a dream streak in the ODI format. This year, the prime focus was on T20. That is why the performance of Iyer in ODI didn’t come to notice. He is a safe player and can bat deep. Even if India is batting second, he can chase down the target like Virat Kohli.
However, depending on the conditions and the toss, you can pick him as Captain or Vice-captain. If India is chasing, it will be better to make him Vice-captain of your dream11 team.
Kane Williamson as Dream11 Vice-captain
The captain of New Zealand is back in form. There were lots of questions regarding his form, but now he is scoring runs. ODI is the best format for class players like Kane, Virat, Smith, and Root. So now there will be more ODI matches, and you can see the “fab 4” in their prime again
Devon Conway as Dream11 Vice-captain
Conway is scoring runs in the mid-30s and 40s. He is showing timing with his bat, but there were no big innings from his bat. He would definitely like to end this series with a big knock. So he can be a good choice for captain or vice-captain for any fantasy game.
Suryakumar Yadav as Dream11 Captain
Needless to say about the form of this man. As Harsha Bhogle said that you are wasting this man on the cricket field. Get him in governance, ask him to build rockets, and clean the environment. Literally, there is nothing on this planet that SKY cannot do at this moment.
Potential Players For Dream11 Mega Contests
Rishabh Pant
Pant is the current vice-captain of the team. So you would expect him to play, but he has to score big. There are lots of players like Sanju Samson, Ishan Kishan, and even KL Rahul in the place he is playing. Unless he plays well in this match, there will be question marks on his ODI career.
Players like Rohit, Dhoni, Virat, and coach Rahul Dravid are backing Pant. We all know he is an X-factor player. So even I will back him up and will play him in my Dream11 team.
Deepak Hooda
Hooda will be the sixth bowler. So he can contribute with bat, and bowl and may take some catches. It will depend on the toss, whether India bats first or fields first. But there are high chances that he will be in my Dream11 team.
Daryl Mitchel
Daryl is one of the important players in New Zealand’s squad. He is not in a bad form but was unable to play a good knock. So another risk that I will take in this match will be playing him ahead of Tom Latham. It is a risky move, but let’s go for it anyway.
Matt Henry and Yuzi Chahal
Both the bowlers are bowling well. They may strike this time and can pick a couple of wickets. Moreover, Matt will bowl with the new ball, so he can get some maiden and economical overs.
Chahal on the other hand will bowl after the power play overs. However, if batsmen are looking to score runs against him, then he can get them. The strength of Yuzi Chahal is his clever bowling. So he will be part of my team as well.

Hey, I am Tanmay Kadam. I am the guy who wanted to win the World Cup for India (Well, I still want to, but they are not allowing me to play for India). But it is really tough to make a profession out of your passion. However, just like test cricket, life gives you a second inning, and here I am writing about my passion and making a profession out of it.
